CRICKET : Kolkata Knight Riders win IPL T20 LEague

CRICKET : Indian wicketkeeper Manvinder Bisla, proceeded to win the match and the Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket final title for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Defending Champions the Chennai Super Kings set an imposing target in making 190-2 from their 20 overs, with Mike Hussey scoring 54 and Suresh Raina 73 from just 38 balls, but their bowlers had no answer for Bisla who smashed five sixes and eight fours in his match-winning knock.

Bisla opened the innings and thrashed 89 off 48 balls to guide Kolkata to a five-wicket win over Stephen Fleming's Chennai Super Kings. He combined with South African Jacques Kallis for a 136-run second wicket partnership inside 14 overs, Kallis scoring 69 off 49 balls as the Knight Riders got home with two balls to spare in Chennai.

Kolkata Knight Riders 192-5 (19.4 overs) beat Chennai Super Kings 190-3 (20 overs) by five wickets
