Paddy Power took a gamble by offering "late goal insurance" on all games in the final round of the English Premier League and it forced a payout on three occasions.
Manchester City conjured up the most spectacular late drama and thanks to Sergio Aguero, it triggered a huge refund from PADDY POWER.
As City scored a goal after the 85th minutes, Paddy Power are refunding all losing 1st Goalscorer. Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match.
Swansea also scored late on against Liverpool and Wolves scored late on against Wigan to ensure the offer also clicked in their matches.
All in all, it means PADDY POWER are refunding over £150,000 in losing bets to customers, but – in the case of the Man City supporting section of those customers – we’re guessing it may take a couple of days before they get around to noticing.
Refunds are currently being processed. They should be in the customer accounts by now.
