Brazilian legend Ronaldo retires

Brazilian football superstar Ronaldo has confirmed that he is retiring from all levels of football after battling with a series of injuries.

Ronaldo helped Brazil win two World Cups, in 1994 in USA, and 2002 in Japan, and won 97 caps for Brazil.

He also scored over 350 senior club goals and has been trying to get back into action with Brazilian club side Corinthians.

"I can't take any more" Ronaldo told reporters. "I wanted to continue, but I can't do it any more. I think of an action, but I can't do it the way I want to."

"It's the body that's hurting me. The head wants to go on, but the body can't take any more."
